so far so good.

I had a blast with the colleagues last night. C:

The entire day was spent in and out of the office and mostly driving from one end of Singapore to another. Had a 10am OOTO at Parkway Health (near Nat's office!) and then tried to schedule another OOTO with another client but he was headed out so we went back to the office for lunch and to get some work done in the office before heading out with Awaq in tow for another OOTO with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB). I love the smell of Boss lady's car. I could snuggle up in the backseat and read a book. That's how good her car smells. She knows it too.

We went on a 'field trip' after that- to Dempsey for good ol' B&Js. I automatically got reminded of Gen and Phish Food (which Jamie ordered) and a
ll the times we'd head over after some sun-basking
good times on the beaches at Sentosa. I miss that woman. Worked for a bit more before calling it a day. Twas time to party the night away- on a Tuesday night no less. Timbre at Old School was awesome. I FINALLY got to see what the fuss for this place was all about. Now I know why it's such a household name. I had my Bailey's (no prizes for guessing who was a very happy girl after that) and Jamie and Awaq had their cold beers with pizza (I love their pizzas) and Buffalo wings. I enjoyed talking to them about our lives, the people that have made impacts on out lives (at that moment- Awaq was making an important connection with Mongul (?), and random bits of information swapping. Awaq is HILARIOUS. Jamie and I were in stitches with all her goofing around. C:

The songs performed on the other hand made me recall quite a few things that happened the day before. I've finally moved on from Duncan. I don't love him any less, but I've realised that we're not meant to be anything more than
friends. Qi doesn't believe me. I'll be telling Nat this later and I'll let you know what she thinks of this realisation/statement. Then there's Aaron who Nesh totally approves of although she's never seen him. I'm breaking out of my shell with him, bit by bit. I'm still not as sure-footed with men (that I'm interested in) as I used to be. I'm taking dainty steps and doing a lot (more) thinking about possible men in my life.

Anyhooo, I had a good Monday and Tuesday. I'm meeting Natali
e Yeo (FINALLLLYYYYYYY) for dinner, oh and a side trip to see M
ike who's just gotten out of surgery at the hospital I absolutely detest. It's unfortunate that if anything untoward *touching wood* should happen, I'd get sent there just cos they're the closest hospital to my area, pfftt. I'd rather pass on then get operated and have tests done and poked and prodded only to die with holes and in so much more pain. Send me to SGH anytime.
