omg. 21. omg.

That's the word to describe everything that happened yesterday. OMG.

My dad woke me up in the pretext that my uncle needed help moving stuff over to his new place.. at 6.30 in the morning. I slept at 3ish replying to the wishes via email, text, phone calls, Facebook wall posts and dedicated blog posts that I got before that. I thought that influx was a lot.. before I saw today's number. I was floored. Anyway, sticking to the deets, I got dressed and was packing when in walk four very familiar faces. I'm gawking at them and the only thing that pops out is "omg! what are you guys doing here?" Very disinviting, I know but I was beyond surprised! I was more shocked that Akram graced me with his presence since he was supposed to be absconded away in camp.. and Faey! She lives in Pasir Ris! After a round of hugs (yes, for the curious ones, Akram got a hug too) we headed on to the living room and tadahhh! There's a cake sitting there and the candles are being lit. I've never had cut a birthday cake that early in the morning. And Lachimi even makes egg and tuna sandwiches for brekkie! We sit around and chat before I've got to leave for school and the rest have to get home to sleep. They were outside my place at 6.45! omgomgomgomgomg.

Heading to school was disinteresting. Except for this kid that kept looking up at me and experimenting with my dress against her colouring (she had fair skin and brown hair and kept fisting her hand around the hem of my dress). She reminded me of Madison. (: I was about 15 minutes late but I walked into a half empty class. Felix just HAD to ask me a question which I didn't have an answer to yet. Lecture was over by 9.30 (lectures for an hour) and tutorial was scrapped so Nat and I hung around till twas time to meet Zhiqi for lunch. We're still early for lunch so we do a wee bit of shopping. I got new shoes! Trot on over to Cathay and there's a queue. Was talking to Benji and he was "babe, go shout to the world that it's your 21st birthday.. then get your mates to go up to some good-looking fella and tell him it's your birthday. You'll probably get a good cuddle out of that!" He sounded so wxcited at the prospect till I told him I didn't fancy weird stares and whispers of the mandarin version of "she's crazy".

I suddenly hear "happy birthday" being sung and I gasp when I see HUI-EN pop up with Zhiqi! I knew Qi was coming since she was the one who asked me out and prodded and pried about the types of cake I like (you were funny with the story you cooked up-random friend indeed!) but Hui-En! That was a surprise! Plus there was a slice of Caramel Cheesecake from Secret Recipe! Woohoo! Lunch was served and then we sat around chatting. Ice cream time was soon after since I get free ice-cream at Swensens. We camped out till dinner time before I headed home to attend to the frantic calls from relatives all over the world who wanted to get hold of me to send on their greetings. I got practical gifts. I love the cards I've gotten, they're up on the shelf in my room so I'm constantly reminded of each feeling I got when I received and read them.

Dinner and the cake cutting was a family affair. Dinner was at Swensens and I got my free ice cream again. This time the candle was red. I got what I wanted after all. My folks somehow managed to deceive me. They have yet to tell me how they snuck the Tiffany and Co bracelet home. :D

And as always, PEEKTURES!
As I was the centre of attention the photos for the dinner were blur since they weren't taken by me.

In the afternoon with uni mates~
