birthdays galore!

Deanne's b'day, Joachim's b'day party, Yannick's b'day and Emmanuel's b'day- 14, 15, 16, 17.
I have a little story to tell. (:
It all starts with school (as usual) and after Dr Pia's and lunch at BK, we head off for our present hunt. "A hunting we will go, a hunting we will go, hi'ho the merry o' a hunting we will go...". In companionable chatter we sat (yes, surprisingly we got seats- side by side too!) all the way to the east where we descended and walked about for close to 2 hours with utter abandonment looking for a present. When the clothes shops failed us, we walked to this really cool stationery shop where we ended up getting stuff for ourselves instead of the b'day boy. Headed off to the bus interchange where for the first time in my life, I got a seat on the highest point of a single deckered bus.. to a er.. blinding view.

Off we went to the house with my welcoming party happily hopping along next to me (no, she was no rabbit..just an expression).

Hung out for close to 2 hours before heading to Joachim's BBQ at ECP. We researched directions.. and I'm never trusting this site.

lthough it said it'll take 3 mins to walk to ECP, we walked for a lil under half an hour to get from the bus stop to the insides of ECP and another 20 odd minutes to pit 57. Grhhh. Thank God for my fellow trooper or I'd never have gotten there I tell you! I'm pretty proud of my directions though. It was after sunset and the place was dark, foggy and cool and lighting wasn't too good. I went half insane with the fatigue. Luckily our present got there in one piece. LOL. We were contemplating polishing off some to be able to get to pit 57 to give the b'day boy his 23. hehehs.

We were the last 2 from school to leave that night though we had stuff the next day if not... lets just say hint taken. Crazy crazy people we were. (:
So that concludes my Friday. As for Saturday and Sunday, well, for now, I shall leave it for tmr.
