Uni Student, 19, crashes into darkness while reading newspaper. Headline material?

Driving from home to Ang Mo Kio to Serangoon Gardens back home in the night equals bad headache. I felt like popping 2 asprins and climbing into bed and sleeping till it snows in August.

Instead, I have to go read bloody newspapers (not that I don't love to news-hound) but I just despise having to read the local papers. The news is boring, too typical and surrounding the majority in Singapore. The pictures are bland, news stories are regurgitated in certain aspects and every article, picture, comic, info-entertainment feature, headline is directly or indirectly related to violence, gore, war, depression, finance, terrorism, explosions, death and China. I'm being rather generous in the compliments I've thrown in so far.

I can't wait to get my hands on The Sydney Morning Herald, The Vancouver Sun Times, The Toronto Star, The Telegraph, Washington Post, International Herald Tribune, La Figuero, Boston Globe, USA Today, The Manila Times, The Enquirer, The LA Times, Bangkok Post, The Calgary Sun, The Canadian National Newspaper, Canadian Free Press, Courrier du Sud, The Edmonton Sun, Edmonton Journal, Hebdo Régional de Beauce, Hanover Post, Hamilton Review, Journal de Quebec, Canberra Times, Blue Mountains Gazette, Hastings Gazette (Wauchope) etc. These are just some of the many.

I've still gotta read chapter 1 of my journalism text before I hit the sack. Pffttt.
