OZ.

" I love those days that feel as though they go on forever."-Australian Women's Weekly
Summer Down Under: Clear, dazzling blue skies, Bondi Beach and short summer dresses. I miss it all.
Summer in Singapore: Cloudy-rainfilled clouds, Sentosa's beaches and (all yr round) tanks tops.

"Summer smells and sounds like nature is having a big party."- Australian Women's Weekly
Summer Down Under: Sausages sizzling on the barbi, laughing children and awesome summer parties. I miss it all.
Summer in Singapore: Longer queues at stores, more drinking and driving campaigns and Christmas-Countdown parties.

It would be awesome to go back. Those long walks to school, catching the train to North Sydney and the city, bus rides to Macquarie to ice-skate, running around playing footie in parks that smell like nature instead of safety foam and swimming in the backyard. Fingerpainting, drinking wine in the Hunter Valley vineyards, smelling the beautiful roses, catching the pine cones that fell from the pines trees out on the lawn, playing 'SNAP' and monopoly in the lounge, having soaks in the tub and smelling gum leaves.
Koalas, kangaroos, multi-coloured parrots, cockatoos, wombats and wallabies. Warm Aussie sunshine, cool breezes, rich English culture fused with cosmopolitan approaches and landscapes. Aboriginal works of art and modern mixes. Hot guys, great shopping, authentic fish 'n' chips, pizza weekends, lying in front of the tellie, funny and original commercials, friendly bus drivers, awesome people, great Christmas sales, late nights, awesome sneakouts and unfenced houses, great outdoorsy feels and decor and crisp fresh air.

Oh Oz, how I miss you so! Perhaps I'll be around for summer... and winter. I miss the winters too.
