Meanwhile, life as an undergrad has begun. So far, so good. Its a wake-up call. The coursemates seem rather 'experienced' and confident of themselves to a fault and I'm starting to feel the pressure. Maybe its cos we're a smaller batch as opposed to the 300ish people there are in BBUS. Had CMNS 1110 yesterday which is basically Intro to Communication Studies. The lecturer's pretty alright.. rather funky character but she's one tough cookie.
I made it a mission to be nice to someone who apparently Gen has misunderstood has 'throw Jayasri at the person she aims to be nice to'. That's what I get for having my B2. We're having our B1-B2 headbobble moments too often when he's around. lol.
Today's lecture and lecturer were exceptionally... let me find an apt word... alright, I shall quote from my lecturer- "insightful". AA's subject's a little on the realm of 'I-need-to-watch-Tim-on-That's IT' if I wanna ace this module. He's teaching Digital Communication and considering he's a joy to listen to cos he peppers his lectures with highly-animated descriptions and down-to-earth comments and anecdotes that'll make semi-techies-in-the-making understand easier, he's got me feeling like its my duty to sponge up.
In the meanwhile, I'm gonna go "refreshrefreshrefreshrefresh" my blackboard page and see if I can do something about getting myself off the UoN Honors List. If all else fails, i'll just have to click refresh while holdong down the CTRL key. Pfftt. At least I'm learning and retaining eh Nat?
