N's pretty much history. Too egoistic and as afore mentioned case study, I'm not gonna rock any boats, just let them float, not anchored. Watched quite a number of movies too. There was 'Wanted' with the R&L gals when we hit town for lunch, window shoppin' and girltalk, 'Hancock' with N(who royally pissed me off with the miscommunication), 'Don't mess with the Zohan' with M and most recently, 'Journey to the Centre of the Earth' with the family and the R&L brood as part of the Singapore After-Care Association. Might be going for' X Files' with mummy though I'll be hiding behind my hands. Oh, and there's the Dark Knight o'cos. Not gonna miss that for the world. Heath Ledger's last movie. sobs.
Waiting for Megan to get out of reservist so we can make dinner plans. There's also August to look forward too. Tons of parties, presents and good food. Not to mention a possible holiday. I SO need one.
I'm glad that appointments I made to meet with people have been kept. Met Lavin and Lachimi at Bugis for lunch-cum-shoppin trip. Glad my dress sense could help those 2 out with getting their party and presentation wear sorted out in shoestring budgets and timing. Surprised Uncle Kumar for his b'day at Cafe Cartel too. Oooh! That was damn fun! He couldn't even stand up from the shock. Tehehees. Shan& Shal's COA ceremony clashed with Subathra's party so we ditched the COA after a while and got to Subathra's party in time for cake-cutting. Cake was awesome. The food was good and saw many familiar faces that I hadn't seen out and about in ages. As sole represenatation for my family (as usual) I danced.. Vishnu was the host so there was the usual comedy. Got home around 12ish totally zonked out. =)
That pretty much sums it up for the week of 12th July. Supposed to go with N to Malaysia today but plans got scrambled at the 11th hour. Oh well.
