Newcastler.

I basically tend to stay away from the computers as valuable as they may be, they are also very productive in the field of arbitrators of news from school. For those not with UON, the exams were recently over and results were being released. A clear indication that I should stay away from any modes of communication that may put my already-sensitive constitution at further risk of gastric or sending my nerves into a deadknot from the release of results. Sameer broke the news to me while I was window shopping in town with momma. That pretty much put me off shopping altogether. He texted me the results a lil later, A for EFTS and D for blasted FA. Thank God. The rest of the results came back satisfactorily save for math with me in permanent panic mode throughout the entire week. That chica, Sam and I decided to go down to school to do some damage control on our grades. The ultimatum? Re-sit the math paper to be at a better standing.

....I also found out that my sec 4 accounts teacher remembered me as the "pretty one in Guides who wore her hair in pleats in uniform". Bleedin' hell! Sounds like stuff my mom's teacher told her back in school.. just that twas in her school uniform.. my mom never would have been in Guides. Mr Peh's lost an enormous amount of weight and is looking rather dapper these days.

That Sameer just HAD to tell me- at MUSTAFA of ALL places, that the list of people making it through to the degree was already sent out and to check it out. Barely 2 seconds later, Stan's calling to tell me the same thing, and to offer comfort that if %^$#&* could make it thru, you definitely can. My tummy was roiling throughout the entire journey home and the only thing I could think of was getting home and praying to DSG and that God'll be kind to me and let me through. They did. As of 15 July 08, P. Jayasri is a communications undergrad with the Uni of Newcastle. Even better is that my friends will be there with me. Cheers UON Homies!
