WARNING: LONG POST.
Uhmm. Well, I pretty much stayed clear of the comp once results were out so that sorta explains why I've been offline alot lately. Its a turn-off. Alot of things have happened so far.. Gen, can't wait to share. Well, been viewing Malaysia in diff light since I've been there weekly for the past 2 months. Don't ask why. Then there was Christmas shopping and the usual moaning and groaning around the house for there was nothing better to do. Recently became addicted to Scarecrow and Mrs King. Who knew Bruce Boxleitner would still be a stud in his old age! He's SO hot!
Then comes December and all the x'mas deco comes up, I walk around with tinsel and holly and a santa cap on (honest to God) and blast x'mas songs. I have to thank Megan severly for the Scrooge got me in the mood for x'mas surprisingly. I secretly think I forced him for him to force me to get into the mood. Ho ho ho. Then it was off on a roadtrip to Malacca. That rocked. I even did Megan proud by 'spreading the x'mas cheer in M'sia' like he told me to. But the part that made me all warm and fuzzy was that even for a predominantly muslim country, their deco beat S'pore anytime! They had gingerbread houses, REAL ones mind you and huge x'mas trees with the PRETTIEST of decorations!
I fell in love! Ate alot too. Didn't realise how much I missed Malacca in the year and a half since I'd last been there. There was of course the good company I had. And the charitable position my mom was in to splurge a lil on me. Love you and the Guess bag btw, mommy dearest.
Had my first driving practical today too. It was AWESOME! My instructor was pretty good, educational but not boring, strict but with a good, healthy dose of humour. Plus the flattery he threw at me like confetti, lets just say I had alot of laughter build-up that I had to control.
I'll post couple of x'mas pics if I can soon. Meanwhile, I can't stop thinking about champaigne, brandy, vodka and whiskey! Pity I couldn't join Gen and those darlings for dinner yesterday. Sigh. But I had fun in my own right. I need another sabbatical- from parties! Oh, but there's Michelle's 21st and Jules's big 3-0.. I guess that sabbatical ain't gonna happen for a long while now innit?
Meanwhile the much-talked about sabbatical, well, I think its happening. Megan says it won't last (I know he'll still support me no matter what) and Jeez, well, good ol' Jees will make me come up triumphant I guess. Meanwhile, I'm uber pissed and sulky till the freakin' papers are over! God have mercy for Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned. Plus I'm still waiting for last year's debts to clear...
Just when I thought I could put 2007 behind me...
