Amitra and Dheeraj's Wedding!! =D (16D/17D)

Uber excited when I got up this morning (1/9/07). Late night yesterday so rubbing the sleep from my eys was as good as trying to step out of tar. I was ex-haus-ted. Anyway, out of bed, shower, change, off to Mauci's place to help with the packing of wedding favours. Wheew. That was tiring work. Not one but TWO wedding favours!! Had fun packing them anyway.

Accompanied Shan to the market to get her Carrot Cake. That darling shared the whole thing with me even though she loved it. She even fed me! Man, I miss being fed. Anyway, we went back soon after and my mom and I were off to the hairdressers. We emerge two hours later, my mom's fuming. She screwed up her hair. My hair came out.. pretty much okay.

Rush home, Gen comes soon after and we pile into my room to get our sarees sorted out. Spend somemore time getting jewellery (the staple of any Indian wedding) and we still have times to pose for pics!! The wedding was AWESOME. I had to be up on stage for the whole ceremony so for the first past I dragged Gen up there too. LOL. Gen was GORGEOUS. Everyone was commenting. =) Even my uncle with sardonic wit complimented her. Plus when photographers wanted my pic, I pulled her into the pic. The poise at which she posed. Woohoo!! =)
I had to walk with 4 other cousins and hold oil lamps and put them on the front of the stage. The bride was escorted with her parents behind us. =) It was SO perfect. Tons of familiar faces too! I also saw Anushia!!!! That babe left for Australia so suddenly. And now she's back for hols. Man, I missed her. We're probably gonna go out one night. =D

This post is neither on the 1/9 nor on the 2/9 cos we only go back at 12.30ish. Gen went home after changing at my place. So this entry is in the wee hours of the wedding reception day... Woohoo!!
