Simply exhausted. Had EFTS at 9, then it was off to grab a bite. Hung with Michael, Rahul and Cva near the smoking corner (I don't smoke) and then went off for Student Council meeting. Samson met us halfway. At least the 1st council is represented. There are changes this time however. Only 12 people make it to the Council this time. It used to be 24. 16 of us are shortlisted. 4 of us won't get to serve. Have tons of meetings, speech to prep for, Econs project to do and the usual meeting of friends before they accuse me of forgetting them.
AJ's my saviour. Relatives from Malaysia were in town and I was not in the mood to entertain their nosy questions. So I hung with him instaed. Accompanied him and Sid to pick up stuff from Queensway. The jerseys look goood. =) Sameer asked if I could join him and the rest for dinner to celebrate his birthday so I obliged. Made plans to meet him and a 'mystery guest' at City Hall. Turns out it wasn't so mysterious.
Firdaus, I dedicate THESE couple of lines to you. Thanks for dedicationg a paragraph to me. =) Hadn't seen him in ages so its was good seeing the guy I scolded for flirting during PL class. LOL. He was uber quiet during the whole thing. Poor guy.
Anyway, after watching the guys (AJ, Sid, Cva and a couple other new guys I have yet to be properly introd to) practice cricket, I bid them au revoir`. AJ's got me hooked on what the majority of India is addicted to- Cricket. Oh ho. The best part was watching AJ single-handedly catch the ball-TWICE, in the hour or so I watched them. Pondering throughout dinner at Swenson's if I should go to Micheal's party. Dijo saw first hand my internal struggle. If you're reading this, STOP SMILING. I ended up not going. Sorry Samson and Micheal. They thought I was indeed going, well Michael was at least. Samson knows the deal. =)
Forced myself to stay awake to catch the India VS Pakistan match at 1.15am. Made full use of the explanation AJ gave me earlier. I pretty much understand the game now. Michael called in between asking if I was coming. AJ hadn't got there to inform him yet so I was stuck having to explain. Dijo also called. Then said he'll call back.... but I didn't pick up. Sorry. Most importantly, India won. YAY! =D
I'm gonna call it a er..... morning? Its already 5.20am. Hmmm.
